Counting cases and loose amounts

How packs, units and loose amounts add up.

Each item has a pack, the way you buy it, such as 4/5 LB (four 5-lb bags) or 12 x 1 L. When you count, the first field is whole packs and the second is the loose amount in a unit you choose (kg, lb, l, gal, each…).

Brigado adds them up in the item’s counting unit (grams, millilitres or each), so recipes and costs stay consistent whatever unit you counted in.

To change an item’s pack or counting unit, open Items & Prices, choose the item, and edit Packs or Counted by.
